Don Robert is Executive Vice President, Research & Insights at A+E Networks. He has been leading the research group across all A+E Networks divisions since 2014. Earlier this year, the team expanded to include five distinct areas to provide meaningful insights to help maximize A+E viewership and value: programming research, ad sales research, international research, distribution and advanced measurement solutions, and a new Audience Insights group.
Robert joined A+E Networks in 2004 to oversee the program and market research teams. He guided the company through several audience segmentation studies that helped lead to a complete reinvention of A&E and a brand refresh of HISTORY. He also contributed research analysis to drive the launches of H2 and FYI.
Prior to joining the company, he was VP, Research at NBC Universal, working in national syndication. Earlier research roles included positions at ABC Television Network and Katz American Television. He has worked in television research for more than 25 years.
He is a graduate of Boston University.
