Gene is the founder and Chairman of DeWitt Media Options LLC, a media/marketing communications consultancy based in New York City.
Previously, Gene developed the Optimedia International (U.S.) division of Publicis, founded DeWitt Media Inc. and led media at McCann-Erickson Worldwide and BBDO.
Gene has advised an extraordinary array of major advertisers, including AT&T, BMW, British Airways, Coca-Cola , Chrysler, Discovery Channels, DuPont, General Electric, General Motors, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, McDonald’s, Pepsi Cola, Sears and The Wall Street Journal.
Gene has developed and conducted media seminars for the Association of National Advertisers. He has also been a member of the Media Policy Committee of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the Media Communications Council of the Advertising Research Foundation. He is also a frequent contributor to advertising and media trade journals and the business press.
