Judy is responsible for directing all of the research efforts and initiatives of PHD. This includes overseeing media research support for all PHD buying units, designing custom research solutions for all clients and integrating research into all phases of PHD’s communication planning process. Judy utilizes PHD’s proprietary techniques and resources to guide the process, to identify and define the consumer and further our understanding of their relationship with media.
Before joining PHD, Judy was Director of Media Research and Consumer Insights at OMD. In that capacity Judy was responsible for directing the media research and primary research initiatives at OMD, as well as developing and enhancing the agency’s proprietary tools.
Judy served for five years as Senior Vice President, Media Research Director at BBDO. Prior to that Judy spent over 13 years with Ketchum Advertising, most recently as Vice President, Director of Media Research.
Judy is actively involved in the industry, serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Audit Bureau of Circulations. She also serves on ABC’s Reader Profile Advisory Committee and Subscriber Profile Advisory Committee. She is the current chair of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA) Media Research Committee and a member of the Radio Advertising Effectiveness Lab. She is also a past Chair of the ARF Print Council.
Judy is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Communications. Judy resides in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband Rob and children Abby, Sarah and Jake.
