Kristy Carruba began her career as an assistant buyer at DMB&B in 1988 and moved up through the ranks spending 20 years in the local buying community. As Vice President of Local Investment and Activation at MediaVest, Kristy won Mediaweek’s planning award for radio in 2006. In 2008, Kristy left the agency side of the business for Verizon and is currently Media Manager for Wireless Consumer Products where she oversees the investment and inventory management for all National media. Kristy has always had a passion for TV and started writing “TV News of the Day” in January of 2011 which evolved into WATCHING WAY TOO MUCH 6 months later. WWTM has built up quite a niche following in the media industry via morning emails and now the daily blog as well.
