Audio's digital ad investment growth is expected to be driven by increasing ad spend on Pandora, Spotify, podcasts and other forms of online-originated audio content. By 2017, online-originated audio content will account for over half of the annual total digital investment in audio. Jack Myers TomorrowToday forecasts that by 2020, total annual audio digital ad spend will reach $7.2 billion.
