Dan Trotzer is Vice President of Pump Media Business Operations for Verifone Media, a leading provider of services and content for the advertising industry’s fastest-growing digital networks.
Based in New York City, Verifone Media is a division of Verifone, Inc., a 30-year leader in the electronic payments space that is leveraging its 27 million payment terminals installed around the globe to transform everyday transactions into opportunities for connected commerce. Verifone Media focuses on out-of-home networks delivering fresh, high-impact experiences to mobile, on-the-go consumers via digital screen networks deployed in gas pumps, convenience stores, in-Taxi TV and taxi top displays.
Trotzer leads the company’s fastest growing division, overseeing strategic partnerships with pump partners including Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Sunoco, Shell, Exxon, Citco and Circle K. In 2014, Verifone partnered with Gilbarco Veeder-Root to collaborate on future fuel dispenser payment platforms which are developed and supplied by Verifone. All told, Trotzer drives market positioning for more than 84,000+ gas station screens, in 194 DMAs delivering 133MM+ impressions.
With more than 15 years’ experience in business development, Trotzer has held senior executive roles at Outcast, which is now managed by Verifone Media, and led business development efforts at SAP and Catavault.
He is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Penn State University.
