Kim Thompson is executive vice president and managing director at Spark Foundry, a global media agency brand within Publicis Media. Spark Foundry’s bold vision harnesses a startup spirit with a powerhouse soul that melds an entrepreneurial, innovative business approach with the full resources, capabilities and marketplace clout ofa larger network.
Thompson currently serves as the lead for the Comcast and NBCUniversal business at Spark Foundry and oversees a large coast-to-coast team that delivers actionable results for the brands. She joined Spark Foundry in 2013. Thompson is passionate about data-driven marketing, and building audience-driven strategies that can be operationalized and scaled across all channels.
Previously, Thompson was the director of social media at Kinetic Social. She has also held roles at Horizon, MindShare, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and TBWA\WorldHealth where she has worked with brands such as David's Bridal, Infiniti Automobiles, Land Rover, LasikPlus, Mutual of Omaha, Pfizer, and UCB.
Outside of work, Thompson sits on advisory boards for Pandora, Google, Facebook and the IAB.
Thompson received her bachelor’s degree from Lynchburg College.
