Andy Monfried is the Founder and CEO of Lotame (www.lotame.com) a Maryland and New York-based company that improves the delivery and performance of online advertising by integrating anonymous social media activity data (such as blogging, uploading, posting and sharing) with intent, interest and demographic data in order to generate actionable marketing insights and zero-waste audience targeting.
Prior to founding Lotame, Mr. Monfried with Advertising.com (now AOL Advertising) from September 1999 to November 2005 mostly recently as Regional Sales Director where he built its New York office. Through his leadership efforts, he and his staff generated over $100 million in advertising revenue within five years time. In 2004, Advertising.com was acquired by America Online for $435 million. Before that Mr. Monfried held executive positions at IKON Office Solutions where he received multiple awards for sales leadership and performance.
Mr. Monfried graduated from the University of Bridgeport (CT) where he played varsity basketball.
Privately-held, Lotame is backed by funding from Battery Ventures, Emergence Capital Partners, Betaworks and Hillcrest Management.
