Karen Abram leads Cadent entertainment, focused on driving growth for movie studios’ in-home entertainment divisions.
Abram has worked with more than 20 movie studios on 500+ movie titles, utilizing proprietary data and a technology infrastructure to bring a new level of targeting and analytic capabilities to optimize investment and maximize revenue for on-demand movie releases.
Prior, Abram was Partner at GroupM, where she managed planning efforts to generate movie rentals and created an analytics model to dictate investment thresholds and evaluate ROI for movie studios. Before GroupM, Abram was VP, Director at Universal McCann (UM), where she developed holistic marketing solutions for new-to-market Sony Electronics products and created an analytics platform to gauge performance, understand ROI of media efforts and influence planning decisions.
Abram began her media career as an analyst at TBWA\Chiat\Day, where she led project management and market analysis for Fortune 500 companies such as: Nissan, Infiniti, Sony and Pioneer.
Abram holds a Bachelor's from the University of California Los Angeles.
