Hayley A. Virgil is MediaVillage’s Assistant Associate Editor, tackling everything from proofing articles to corresponding with journalists to fact-checking. She started her career as a Copy Editor, Researcher, and Social Media Coordinator within the hospitality industry, while simultaneously freelancing with magazines, including All That is Interesting and I am Zain; a jack of all trades, it was here that she dabbled in writing subjects, such as science, history, culture, business and culinary.
She earned her B.A. in English and Professional Writing at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, which led to her interning with Philadelphia Magazine and Philadelphia Wedding. In her spare time, she reads constantly, manages a lifestyle blog and searches of new and interesting writing niches.
